Placement Cell


The Placement Cell at Sri Venkateshwara University serves as the primary interface between students and the professional world. It is dedicated to enhancing students’ employability, equipping them with industry-relevant skills, and facilitating meaningful career opportunities. The Cell ensures that graduates are well-prepared, confident, and capable of contributing effectively to the workforce.

Composition of the Placement Cell
  • Dean / In-Charge of the respective School – Chairperson
  • Head of Department (HoD) of the School – Member
  • Two Faculty Members (Professor / Associate Professor) – Members
  • Three meritorious students (selected based on previous semester performance) – Members
  • Coordinator of Training and Placement Cell (TPC) of the School – Convenor / Member Secretary
Functions of the Placement Cell
  • Coordinating training, internship, and placement activities across all Schools of the University.
  • Liaising with industries, organizations, and government agencies to facilitate placement and internship opportunities.
  • Organizing soft-skills training, resume-building sessions, and pre-placement programs.
  • Maintaining and updating records of student placements and industry collaborations.
  • Submitting periodic reports to the Registrar and Vice-Chancellor for monitoring and evaluation.

  • Career Preparedness: Equip students with the skills and knowledge required to meet industry standards.
  • Industry Engagement: Build and maintain robust networks with corporate, governmental, and entrepreneurial organizations.
